This was the day my grandfather made the transition. I took this picture right before I rushed out to the hospital to be with my mom. The family is doing fine. He was in a lot of pain - so we are happy that he is in a better place, although the thought of him not being here is feels crazy and sometimes brings tears to my eyes.
